So I was reading for class, when they kept mentioning this island Sakhalin, and whether it was an island or a peninsula (it was an article talking about travel journals kept by explorers in the 1700's...I know, I'd be jealous too..some of it is kinda dry, though) and how the Chinese natives were blah blah blah anyways, so I knew that it was a Russian place, but had no idea where exactly (aside from the Pacific coast side), when I found this short little gem.

Geez. ok, as if there weren't enough other reasons (at least for me..others may not be so quick to agree) to keep studying Russian. FIIIIIIIINE. ;)
